Glycerol purification is the first step to prepare large quantity of 2nd generation bio-waste glycerol for conversion into valuable liquid fuels with the GLAMOUR technology.

In this paper, the team in Argent Energy and the University of Manchester have provided a comprehensive review of existing and new promising technology to purify glycerol from 2nd generation bio-diesel plants.
